While Pai itself is unforgettable, I can confidently say that choosing Pai Village Boutique Resort is what made my experience from great to incredible. If you’re looking for a peaceful, aesthetic, and centrally located stay, this is easily one of the best accommodations in Pai.

The location is truly unbeatable! It is also a big reason why I consider this the best stay in Pai Thailand.

The resort sits directly off Pai’s famous walking street, meaning you have immediate access to restaurants, bars, shops, and nightlife. But, still feels so private quiet, and tucked away.

It’s also less than a 5-minute walk from the Pai bus station, which is a huge advantage if you’re arriving via the popular route from Chiang Mai. A short walk is key when backpacking Thailand.

Why this matters (from experience):
After a long, winding journey into Pai, the last thing you want is to navigate far with your bags. Staying here made arrival and departure seamless.

I stayed in the “Boutique Garden” bungalow, and it honestly exceeded my expectations.

When I stayed (June 2022), I booked through Agoda and had breakfast included—and it was excellent. There was a mix of made-to-order options (eggs or pancakes) and a buffet with fresh fruit, toast, jams, snacks, and drinks.
